PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
President’s Message
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer – at least our hot days are interspersed with some cool weather! It is time to start thinking about the fall and our GSAC schedule.
Karen Juncker has coordinated a fabulous Harvest Party at the Stockton Yacht Club. The views are fantastic and you can watch the sunset over the Delta. A well-known Greek Restaurant known for great food will cater the event. This is a time to network with your colleagues in a congenial setting. Spouses and special friends are also invited to this wonderful event. You may bring a gift with a $10 limit for the gift exchange if you wish.
The Board meeting in June was very productive with a delicious dinner served by Muffy Ratto. A determination was made to upgrade the GSAC-AALNC web site and add a PayPal option for events. This option will be available soon. Many thanks to Tracy and Oscar for doing all the work on this improvement.
As a reminder, we have an exciting program on “Evaluation of a Personal Injury Case from Top to Bottom” presented by Arlene Klepatsky R.N., J.D. on October 13. Arlene is a wonderful speaker and presents very interesting and useful information. Be sure to save the date on your calendar!
Plans are in the works for a follow up program with Michael La Vangie, Esq. and another well-known attorney – stay tuned for this exciting program.
Be sure to check the AALNC web site for new developments. A new “Legal Nurse Consulting Online Course” is now available. You can check out the details on the web site.
On a personal note, I am very happy to inform you that I will be getting married in September. I feel very blessed and invite you to share in an open house to be scheduled in October.
Many thanks to all the board members for promptly responding to emails and facilitating decision-making. It is a pleasure to work with all of you.
